What I see is different now

When I first got into photography seriously in the spring of 2010, I did what I did with my old point-and-shoot: I just took pictures. I didn't really think much about the light, the shutter speed, or the type of of lens I should use. I saw something I liked, and started taking pictures of it. Now I think differently when I go out to shoot my subject: What's the weather like; is there sun or clouds? Do I need my tripod? What lenses do I need? I've also learned that the angle I'm shooting from makes a big difference. So in the last seven months, I've not only learned what questions to ask, but I have come to see the world in a very different way. Through the lens.
